I want to change hdtoolbox tooltype to point to my scsi device on my BPPC but have no clue what the device name is :-?
Anyone have a clue?
-
blizzppc.device
-
Thanks :-)

Hi Guys, I have a BPPC with a SCSI chain attached. I dont have any install disks though. Where do I get Blizzppc.device from?
-
It's the the board's flashrom, that is, always available.
It would be a bit hard to boot the system without the driver being available at boot...
-
Ok thanks, I boot from an IDE HDD. I want to get the SCSI HDD set up. HDTOOLBOX doesnt see it though...
-
If HDToolBox can't see the devices on the SCSI chain then your SCSI chain is not set up correctly. Can you post the configuration of the chain?

HDToolBox doesn't see the device by default, you need to give it as an argument to it.
-
Piru, many thanks, what is the argument ?
-
iirc DEVICE.
-
Piru, when I start HDToolBOx, all it sees is my drives connected through IDE. How do I give it the argument to see my
blizzppc.device drives?
-
Sorry I got it ok
os3.9:tools/HDtoolBox Device blizzppc.device
Thanks again!
