Okay, first up, a Sandisk (http://sandisk.com/Products/Item(1138)-SDAD-38-SanDisk_CompactFlash_PC_Card_Adapter.aspx) CF to PCMCIA adapter. I picked this up for the heck of it, then discovered it actually still *is* PCMCIA in this day and age, and so can't break PIO speeds. Apparently they keep making them for compatibility reasons, and also so they can sell Cardbus "Ultra" adapters at some absurd markup.
Made the mistake of buying a fast, modern Cardbus adapter that's useless on your 1200 and want to trade? I *assume* Amiga drivers must exist for these basic IDE bridges, give me a swift kick if I'm wrong.

Also up for grabs are the Mayflash "Multi-Purpose VGA box" (s-vid, composite, or interlaced component -> fixed 640x480 output cheerfully misreported as 640x350 over DDC as far as I can tell), component to RGB level converter/sync separator box (output timing/resolution = input timing/resolution), and the triple-RCA to VGA d-sub cables mentioned in the "VGA box" thread.
These didn't work too hot with a LCD, as mentioned (the one for the bad DDC information -- if that's what the problem is -- and the other for the calibration race with the panel controller). I'll test with a CRT if it helps me get rid of them. ;)
I guess I'll ask $35 shipped for either converter box and five bucks each / no-offer-refused for the two 'projector' cables. Shipping outside North America is probably not worthwhile.

I did just un-moronify myself, and "CFD" on AmiNet is the driver you'd need.
