If you haven't been to this site and you are into ALL the great games they made, CHECK IT OUT!!!
They have alot of orig. game music for free download which I loves!!!

Since this website is not affiliated with Sony, they may not be licenced to distribute those music patches (not that Sony gives a darn). Any info on this?

I've always loved their games. Particularly Shadow of the Beast, Ballistix, Blood Money, Walker, and Killing Game Show. I played SotB on the C64 since I didn't have an Amiga, and I actually bought my first A500 just for that game. Ahhhh....
I'm noticing, however, some missing releases. Ballistix isn't shown for the Amiga, and Beast and Beast II were released for the Sega Genesis (I have them, but can't play them until I find my Nomad :-))

Heh! Shadow Of The Beast was what made me ditch the Atari ST and upgrade to an A500 too! SoTB sold far more Amiga hardware than Commodore's advertising ever did!

Same hey, I really blame Dixon's for running the Shadow Of the Beast rolling Demo for making me want to buy my first A500.

Have you tried SotB on Atari Lynx?
Its good, I would say better than the Amiga version, having improved enemy attack patterns and solid gameplay and the Amiga gets namedropped in the end sequence credits.

Great site. I remember when computer games came in unique different size boxes with distinctive cover art. Ahh.. the good old days.
I used to get so darned excited looking at those boxes.

Don't rush to find it. SotB on the MasterSystem, SotB I and II on the Genesis/MegaDrive are horrible.
The colours look a bit pasty, the music is abysmal and they've given it a points/lives system.
I've got all three and I think I've only ever played them once each. Had them for a couple of years aswell.

One of my favourite games was Armour Geddon on the Amiga, I loved how you could link Amiga's up over serial cable and co-ordinate attacks.
Eg you could have a helicopter providing a light tank with air support, etc.
Sort of like Battlefield 1942 without the soldiers just the vehicles with strategy built in (eg where to put your funds into what resources).

Great site! Though, I've never liked SoTB.. Don't know why.. Actually, i think the games are downright awfull! But i never played them as a kid either, so I'm missing out on the nostalgia aswell.. However i really like some of Psygnosis' other games, like Lemmings , the brilliant Discworld games, Baal, Barbarian, G-Police, Leander... Well, the list goes on!;-)

sorry for advertising but if you love PSYGNOSIS as i do you should check this out :

Psygnosis.org dont run a tight ship.
They have box art from the original 1988 sentinel (not a psygnosis game) for Sentinel returns.
They have a Wipeout XL advert for Wipeout.
They say that Carl Lewis challenge wasnt for the Amiga and then they have the names of the Amiga musician and Amiga sound to download.
They say that the Misadventures of Flink was MegaDrive only when it was MegaCD and more importantly CD32, and again have the CD32 sound for download.

Absolutely criminal, they deserve to be shut down!
Cheers,
James
