Title: Miami + cnet.device problem :( Can't connect anylonger ..
Post by: dekar24k on January 02, 2007, 01:32:38 PM
Hey all! I have just been deleting alot of stuff from my A1200 hdd which I didn't need anylonger, just to make the disks a little more tidier. Guess I shouldn't have done that though because now it looks like I've deleted something that I shouldn't. Now I can't get my A1200 online anylonger. I start Miami as usual, set the correct configuration options and then click "Online" to make it initialize the PCMCIA card and go online, but what happens? I get the following error instead:

"CISTPL_CONF_MAP tuple not found"

and then I get a final error that:

"Miami is unable to open SANA-II device 'cnet.device' unit 0."

I have checked that Miami actually can locate the driver and it does, because if it can't find the file then it just gives me an error at once saying it can't find the file.

This used to work flawlessly before I started "cleaning up" my harddrive.. :(

Does anyone know what's wrong and/or how I can fix it? I really want my A1200 online now as I have lots of stuff on my PC which I want to transfer to it. All help appreciated, thanks!

You might have read this thread (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=24201) already?  Sounds very similar.

I thought that might be it, this (http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.amiga.hardware/browse_thread/thread/d661d7971f6ebe44/7d6ccdefaadcf7d9?lnk=st&q=cistpl_conf_map&rnum=1&hl=en#7d6ccdefaadcf7d9) was my second guess :)
