Title: ReAction speedbars are too wide
Post by: Minuous on January 01, 2007, 03:27:03 AM
I've been tearing my hair out over this bug:

http://members.optusnet.com.au/jrjacobs76/aa-bug.gif

You will notice that there is empty space to the right of the speedbar; this not only looks bad but means the window can't be as narrow as it could otherwise be.

It seems that speedbar.gadget or layout.gadget is calculating the minimum width of the speedbar incorrectly. I'm using OS3.9+BB2.

I'm not doing anything tricky here. I don't know why this is happening. Has anyone else had this problem with their programs? Is there any source code available which uses speedbars? (There's nothing in the OS3.9 NDK, and apparently nothing on Aminet.)

Thanks...

Take this out of your Startup-Sequence:

"VisualPrefs/TRAP ALL COMPLETE"

Then that isn't the problem, is it?  ;-)
