Post by: dammy on December 31, 2006, 03:22:51 PM
Thanks to Mazze, AntiWord has now been ported to AROS.  Pic can be found here (http://aros-exec.org/modules/xcgal/displayimage.php?pid=203&album=lastup&cat=&pos=0).

Nice work.  BTW, do you really want CUPS?

I think you were directing that at me and not at the developer who ported AntiWord, Mazze.  For me personally, yes I want CUPS.  Just put a Zune or Feeln interface to it and let it run.  I only have one printer on my HAN, and it would be very nice for the AROS box to use it as well.  Lets face it, printing is done rarely and CUPS has a ton of drivers and  it is open source.  Printing is a huge and ugly chore that I rather have the few developers work on porting existing code then taking an ungodly amount of time to create from nearly scratch a Amigish printer system.
