Title: Annoying atapi device :(
Post by: dekar24k on December 30, 2006, 01:13:46 PM
Hey all! I recently bought an A1200 which used to have a cdrom-drive connected to it. The CDROM drive is no longer connected so now I get an error-msg everytime I boot the amiga that it can't find an ATAPI device. I don't have the opportunity to boot the A1200 as I'm typing this but I think the error is that it's trying to initialize a device called "atapi.device". I have checked both my startup-sequence and userstartup files but I can't find any references to the device. I have also disabled ATAPI support in IDEFix. Could someone please help me out, as it's pretty annoying to get this errormessage every time I reboot my A1200. Thanks :) Oh and BTW, Happy New Year! :)

Check your DEVS drawer for a CD-ROM device.

@dekar24k:

Remove CD0 from Devs/DosDrivers.

Bye,
Thomas
