On the new Intel Macs I guess OS4 wouldnt
run... But my iMac is a G4, 1GhZ, 512 MB
80GB HDD... The Lamp iMac.... A PowerPC..
Would OS4 run on that one ? ... :S
-
No. OS4 will only run on an AmigaOne or a classic Amiga with a PPC card.

That's the best idea I've heard all year!

Well... OS4 on a Mac would be fine :) Better
than on the ugly pcs... I know pc's are cheaper
but Mac's are more fun... Annnd double fun if
we could switch between OSX and OS4

Actually, with MacOnLinux you can install MacOSX on AmigaOne or Pegasos. We really do need a laptop-version of the Amiga, however.

somehow it always sounds like a good idea but .... no :horse:

Silly not to allow OS4 to run on a Mac.
If it would, I have a dspanking cool G4 to use with it.
Seems like they fancy redusing their userbase :P
To me, it's pointless to upgrade an Amiga to the point of OS4 usability, or buying an AmigaOne mobo, when I have a very good G4 notebook sitting right next to me.
Oh well... maybe someone hacks it?
:P
