Title: IBrowse registrations
Post by: motorollin on December 23, 2006, 03:11:06 PM
I registered IBrowse 2.4 this morning and still haven't received a key or a link to a download area. Does anyone know if the registration is automated, or does someone have to manually create the key? On the web site it says it should only take 10 minutes to receive the key once your payment has been received.

you will receive an e-mail confirmation along another one with your login password.

As soon as you have logged in (at IOSpirit site), go into your purchase area to see at which point is the registration process.

Then you can download your key from your account.

I received the "Please confirm your order" email and clicked the link. I also received a PayPal receipt. But I didn't receive any login details. I think I had better contact IOSpirit.

I don't mind waiting if that is normal (that is why I asked if it is automatic). But the web site did say I could expect to wait about 10 minutes. It wasn't clear whether that was for the key or just confirmation of payment.

I'm only asking if I should expect to wait for confirmation or whether it should come through automatically within minutes. Don't panic, I'm not criticising anybody for lack of personal response :-)

i have registered (again) last week through bank transfer.

so... i registered at 8 Dec... received the login data mail(passw) the same day  .... payed at 11 Dec (bank)... received the Invoice and the confirmation mail on how to download from the IOSPIRIT site the key (from the reserved area)

As soon as you'll receive your password (soon) you will be able to trace the registration process, logging in the site in your "purchase" area.

Thats all

PS- ouch! i said last week!!! time flies ;-)

ibrowse registration (with paypal) took me about 3 minutes from payment to a key in my email.

Be sure to check your junkmail folder, if you have one. It might have ended up there?

I've just checked PayPal and it says the payment is uncleared. It says it is expected to clear on the 7th of January. This never normally happens with PayPal. The payment is normally instant. I've got another transaction pending which says it will clear on the 3rd of January  :getmad:

I *knew* I should have just used my card  :madashell:

Did you send an echeque by mistake? That could explain why it needs to clear...

Moto: sounds like you paid with a e-check by accident.  The thing that sucks about e-checks is if you cancel the payment I think they sock you with a hefty charge.  I think thats the case..  Not 100% sure.

My iBrowse registration emails took two or three days after I had sent the payment.  Maybe their servers are on vacation for the Holidays, too?  :)

AFAIK I sent it as a normal PayPal transfer. I didn't choose any option to send it as an e-cheque. I did change my bank details on PayPal when I closed one account and opened another one. I haven't added my Visa card yet, only my bank account (and verified it). Could this be why it was sent as an e-cheque?
