Title: netconnect and vaporware
Post by: quiesce on May 30, 2003, 12:56:26 AM
I have just installed winuae and got my workbench up and running. I also installed an old copy of netconnect 3 I had lying around. When trying to install the lastest version of voyager, it wouldn't recognise my netconnect keyfile, even though it is supposed to and it did when I last used an amiga over a year ago. Suggestions, people?

A few months back vaporware offered a service for all netconnect owners where they could get there netconnect keys upgraded to real vaporware keyfiles, and im guessing since they did this they have stopped supporting the old netconnect keys on all there new software, including the latest V³ beta's. If you take a good look around the vaporware site you should find the section about upgrading your key, it is free, if not send them an email.

Wel its not, and there is no mention of this news about key upgrades on their website. Guess i'll have to email them (hope they are responsive, they haven't updated anything in a while).

Edit: My mistake. I found it here: http://www.vapor.com/nc3update/

Thanks.
