I guess everyone needs one or too Amiga 4000D (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330065032455) motherboards.
-
In the picture of the item in the Ebay listing, you have the CPU card installed but it's not included? Is this card what you mean by CPU module?
-
If you are bidder with zero (0) or negative feedback (especially if you are a bidder out of the US with no feedback) please message us before bidding.
But you have zero feedback yourself?
-
Well this is my fiances start on eBay. I would have used my account that I've had since 2001 but due to some stupid eBay mess ups (anyone that know the screwed up way that eBay-Paypal run know half of what I'm talking about) I'm still trying to get it back.
Notice, it say message, it doesn't say DON'T bid. Quit trying to reverse stuff on the seller. I hate when people do that stuff.

Well it's kinda hard to start the Amiga to power up without the other components. Remember to read the auction.
"The only thing that comes in this auction is the motherboard, memory, The 3.1 Roms, and daughtherboard only"
That basically states what comes in the auction. When you buy motherboards from the store I don't think they come with CPU's. Just so happens that the Amiga uses a CPU Module to hold it's cpu. Hey go get a CSPPC and something.
-
Hmm. I would more then love to be able to keep this motherboard, but alas I know when reality sets in, I have to give up.
This was going to be my beautiful Bianca Neve, CSPPC powered, High GFX powered, mega monster Amiga Baby. Unfortunately I need to make way for more important things. I might have to get rid of some other stuff, but I will have to take that one step at a time.
-
You've still got me confused. Does everything shown in the picture come with the auction or not? It was a simple yes or no question. Dan

Ummm, I have never had an issue, as long as the person is honest...

The prices usually go too high buying things in components. I bought some A2000 MBs and one A3000 MB and the processors were part of the motherboard or came with the motherboard.
The reason I asked was I was going to use it as an experimental board to try simulating a high density floppy drive with it using the simulator which I mentioned in another thread:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320065196654&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=011
To do the experiment I would only need a functioning motherboard and a power supply; no drives, keyboard, mouse, case is needed.

And the laws of the land don't hurt people unless they are honest too, but you know what there are plenty of innocent people that get locked up or in trouble for stuff. There are plenty of people that are responsible that get their credit messed up for years because of a mistake on the part of a few people, or the the malicious acts of a single individual.
To say what you just said is just being naive. Remember, you keep saying that. Then there will be the one day you get screwed over, and some one will say that to you. "well then you must have not been "honest"

@ Dan. No. I was just showing the hardware to show that it was working.
Read not into just pictures, but both the pictures and the words.
-
so you're selling a desktop Amiga 4000 infested with moths ?
-
Thank you for the straight answer. I read the words and looked at the picture and they told me different things. Thats why I asked. Thanks again, Dan

I just sent you a message regarding the 0 feedback, LOL. I see what you wrote below. LOL

Err, I swear, you are damned if you do, you are damned if you don't.
If I would have taken a picture of just the motherboard, then either me of my fiance would have gotten questions about if it worked, that that, etc.... None of us really have much time to try to catch the questions and answer them. Even if she did, she doesn't know anything about the stuff that I have. I definately don't have time to baby sit eBay auctions anymore as I did in the past.
So I put picture of it working. Unfortunately I have no choice but to put the other things on the unit to test it out. Even when I specifically say what is going on the auction, people question. Has eBay come to that level of suspicion and deceit, that we even question the even obvious? Hell, I've even dealt with people that were the shadiest of business people, and I got through them.
Hell, if you need someone to scrutinize and b**** at then do it to Doomy. I hear he has more then done his fair share of ripping people off and other questionable selling tactics.

 Give the poor guy a break lads =).
