Title: 68060 and SetPatch
Post by: skurk on December 18, 2006, 07:25:28 PM
Hi,

I just mounted a CS 68060/PPC in my A4000.

Thank you, thank you.  Thank you, it's too much.  *bows*

Anyway, after the hardware install, C:SetPatch crashes my Amiga instantly.  Everything else seems to run just fine.

Kickstart ver 39.106 and WB ver 40.42, fresh install, nothing fancy-schmancy.

You're supposed to install the 68060 library before installing the CS PPC.

While everything else "runs just fine", it is at the moment running at fraction of the speed available with the correct setup.

Hey, that sure did the trick!

I got a new version of setpatch and copied followed the instructions on this page (http://www.geocities.com/Area51/1739/1260software.html) (bottom section), and voila!  Full throttle! :-)

Thanks, Piru!
