Hey all,
I've just bought a Pegasos 1 board (well, not completely, I still have to pay for it, but the deal is made), but I'm completely new to Peg/MOS, so I'm looking for the most basic information possible on how to get this board to life (I still need a case+psu, harddisk etc, but that's minor stuff).
If anyone can point me to a website/manual (there's no info with the board, only a MorphOS CD - don't know which version), I'd be very thankful.
I already registered on Morphzone.org, so I will check the forums there as well.
adTHANKSvance,
Eric

Hey McVenco,
If you have not already done so, sign up with http://support.morphos-team.net/ for updates and downloads. Also at http://developer.morphosppc.com/ you can get development tools, information and source code examples.

Try http://www.wikipeg.org/ThePegasosBook/ (the Pegasos book)
And please registred your Peg1 motherboard on
http://www.morphos-team.net/ if you plan to use MorphOS
For last Ambient, try http://www.ambient-desktop.com/ or http://www.ambient-desktop.net/

Here are the manuals that you'll want when you decide to install MorphOS or other OSs. They're in PDF format.
http://thepegasosbook.wikipeg.org/
The instructions to boot from CD-ROM were are bit different than described in the manuals but I think it was because my PegII had the latest revision of OpenFirmware. I had to use the following command line to boot from CD:
boot cd1:boot.img
The instructions are probably just fine for earlier Pegs.
Version 1.4.5 is the latest version of MOS for consumption. Version 1.5 is in the works and will add a a native TCP/IP stack and other improvements as well as support for the EFIKA.

Thanks! I'll check all this out and I hope I'll get my Peg1 working without much hassle :-D
