That advert has been running on TV up here for a couple of weeks now.

Quite good, as are most Irn Bru ads.

Ja, I seem to recall you are a fan of the drink too. I went through a phase when that was all I would drink. I've had to cut back on fizzy drinks though.

Ja, the ones I like are the sugary ones and I gotta cut that out because I am getting mighty heavy. And it isn't all muscle. I gotta get more exercise too, otherwise who knows how fat I'll get

Ah, I get you. Unfortunately the diet variety of Irn Bru tastes completely different from the genuine article.

Ja, the diet stuff is often fairly dire. The only one that doesn't seem to make me want to spew is the original Diet Coke. I can't imagine a Diet Irn Bru tasting very nice.

Just the smell of Diet Irn Bru is enough to put me off it.  Absolutely horrid.  Mind you, drinking normal Irn Bru from a plastic bottle isn't too much better - it's gotta be from a freezing cold can.

No problem with that at this time of year :-D

To me there's no point in drinking Diet or Caffiene Free stuff.

I remember visiting Scotland and luckily every shop I went to had Irn Bru. Coca Cola was actually hard to find. I used to drink a lot of fizzy drinks back then.

I still prefer Irn Bru over Coke though.

I haven't been able to drink Coke or any of its variants since I consumed half a litre of Pepsi post-mix syrup as a dare over the summer. The lemonade syrup gives a strange kind of high about ten minutes after consumption, but just thinking about the Pepsi literally makes me gag even now.

It doesn't, it's rather watery tasting.

I find it tastes a bit odd from a can. I prefer it straight from a cold, standard issue glass bottle.

Do you get the small (normal) sized glass bottles?

We don't :-x

We only get cans or plastic bottles here.  It can be difficult to find a 2 or 3 litre glass bottle here aswell.  Actually, finding a 2 or 3 litre bottle is difficult enough!

I can't stand drinking from a plastic bottle.

Not so handy when you're wandering about a busy city center :-P

I saw some 3 litre bottles in Farmfoods today.  First time I've seen them in ages.

Still no glass bottles though :-(
