Title: noob amiga 2000 question

i'm a bit noob with hardware on the amiga so i have a noob question
i have a empty a2000 with kick 1.3 on it..i want to keep it that way to run older games on it that wont run on my a1200
now i want to install a harddisk in it? what components do i need to do it?

You will need a SCSI (preferably) or IDE controller (Zorro II). I've got a GVP 2000-HC SCSI controller in my A2000, which autoboots under Kickstart 1.3, but there are a lot more types of cards. Just ask around or look on Ebay.

You can get a 2091 or other similar scsi card on ebay these days for next to nothing. sometimes they even come with a small scsi drive to get you started.
