From Genesi's Pegasos Website (http://64.246.37.205/software_bundle.php):
"MUI 3.9 PPC
MorphOS owes its distinctive user inteface to MUI, the Magic User Interface system. Though originally a shareware title, the complete MUI system has been built into MorphOS creating one of the most flexible and powerful user interfaces on any platform."
Is there an official/un-official website(s) that describe what MUI is, how to code for MUI, and other documentation?
I remember hearing about MUI a few years ago and the press it got was negative, something about MUI being buggy.. but if MUI has lasted this long and new updated versions of it being made, it must be vastly improved.
Any MUI experts here?

Have you ever owned an Amiga before? A vast amount of Amiga internet software uses MUI. I cant believe you've never used it before.

IIRC the MUI website hasn't been updated for years - compare the old MagicWB style screenshots to the new MorphOS/MUI ones :-o
Of course, loads of software uses MUI (search for "MUI" on Aminet - there are too many results found, and as jahc commented you'd be very hard pressed to use AmigaOS seriously without it), so any next-gen Amiga-compatible OS has to have a version. The MorphOS team are using MUI as their primary GUI, so it's very configurable. OS4 is focused on ReAction instead, so the OS4 MUI is cut-down.
OT: Does anyone know if/when ReAction can do those gradient tricks?
