I hate to have to ask, but I am looking for clarification on what MorphOS is and what it will run on. My Internet research of this afternoon has confused me more than anything. I apologise for the silliness of this question, but I learned a long time ago to ask, ask and maybe ask again in order to learn something.

It's an Amiga-like operating system which runs on the Pegasos(II) motherboards, and classic Amigas with PPC cards. It will run 68k Amiga software, but nothing which uses the custom chips without UAE. The interface and directory structure are very similar to Workbench.

It runs on PPC systems marketed by Genesi. There's also a version that runs on classic Amigas equipped with a PPC upgrade card. That version is known as the PowerUp version and it's free for download on the web.

It runs on the Pegasos motherboard, EFIKA (very soon) and classic Amiga's with a PowerPC accelerator from phase5 and DCE. (A1200, A3000, A4000)
