Can I borrow the hard drive from my A1200 and put it in an external case and connect it with a USB cable to my laptop that is running the currentversion of Amiga Forever and have the emulater recognise the drive so that I can get my older versions of Final Data, ect.. back into use again?
I really enjoy using the emulated Amiga. I never really enjoyed using the PC until I installed Amiga Forever.

Yes.
The version of WinUAE is usually not very recent in Amiga Forever, so you might want to download the newest one from www.winuae.net
Then once you've started down that road, you can forget all about AForever..
Use the AForever kick roms or the ones from your A1200, then copy the Amiga's HD contents to a virtual HD on your PC.
