Hi i've just tried to install a cyberstorm II 68060 50 mhz with 128 mb fast ram from one A4000D to another A4000D. The first A4000 boots with the 68060, the second doesn't. The second A4000 boots with the commodore 68040 card that it usually has. I have swapped the hard drive from the first A4000 to the second. Both are 3.1 rom machines with OS3.9. Both are revision b motherboards. I can't remember: are there any jumpers to set. i have the latest 68060 libraries on the original hard drive. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you set up the EXT/INT jumpers correctly?

Try it again. the card was probably just not seated quite right. Phase5 cards are very tempermental with regard to be being fitted just so. Also check for a bent or blocked pins on the cpu slot or on the card. And, of course, the motherboard jumpers as already mentioned: CPU->EXT.
-
IIRC, you use INT for the CSMK2.

I am sorry i do not know where to find these jumpers?

@ stefcep:
Here is where you can download the manual for the Cyberstorm (Thanks to Jope for the link):
