I am getting rid of all my Amiga stuff. It's all free, but you have to pay shipping and packing. If you live anywhere near Lineboro, MD you can pick it up at no cost. I have seen where these systems in their origional box bring a fair peice of change. If you can sell this, good for you. I hope someone finds it worth while.
This is a partial list:
A1000 in origional box has SupraDrive attached. Also have origional box for Supradrive.
Keyboard, mouse, joy stick,
Manuals, including some schematics
Magazines: Compute gazzett and others
Origional software: games and a bunch of other stuff.
Note: there is no monitor. I am using it for my grandson's playstation.
If this offer becomes a bother for me I'll just toss the whole lot in the landfill.
-
I guess you dont ship to norway?
-
Please dont landfill it, I'm sure someone will pick it up or pay for shipping soon. I would but I am in Australia.
-
I sent u a email
-
I'm sorry you are so far away. The cost and trouble of shipping overseas is prohitive. Do you know any one in the States that could help you out? John
-
I would love to see the old Compute Gazette Magazines scanned
in as PDF's or something like that. If there is a company that
still has the Copyright, it should make them available to
retro fans.
I loved that Magazine.

meant to send pm.

Let me know how much to ship to 92570 and I might want it. I am at 92570 Zip. thanks
-
DiscreetFX will take this if no one has dibs on it yet, please let us know.

Thanks to all who have responded. I have contacted a local retail shipper and got basic bark park packing and shiping costs. Packing = approx $30, shiping to calif. (the furthest I could find) $45 for the heavest, down to $15 for the lightest of the 7 boxes. He will take phone credit card orders, so that is the way I will offer it. Please be patient as I am not very proficent at this internet thing. John
If anyone is reading this, please tell me how to post messages on this fourm. I am having trouble trying to figure out how to post. I really want to give this amiga stuff to someone, but am having no luck in posting. I can't find any thing that says "post new message". Thanks, John
-
you posted a new message to begin with. do that again. or, don't do that if you're just going to post about the free A1000 stuff. just keep replying to you original post or to other people's replies if applicable.
@Wayne
He's right, it is a bit of a hard times finding that new thread posting clickable. it looks like something else unless you look right at it.

weirdami, Thanks for the info, Re. posting. Unfortunitly I can't find how I managed to make my inital post. However, responding to my origionl post does seem to work.I have recieved a lot if inquires about all this gear etc., but so far no one has commited. Shipping is expensive. I am still hoping for someone to pick itup here. John

I live about 70 miles from you. If you are still offering, I would love to come by next sunday to pick the stuff up.
-
Well, I do hope a new owner can be found - Kree D, please post back in this thread if you are successful (preferably with pictures).
Take care,
James

I have sent a PM in the hopes that I could pay to have it shipped to me down in Arkansas. I haven't ever owned an Amiga before, never even touched one, but I would LOVE to have an Amiga. It's such a fascinating beast. :)
-
To Kree_d: Hi, Sounds like you are just around the cornor from here. I have sent you a PM John
-
umm... I sent you a email and a PM and never heard back.
-
Hi Magic, Sorry,I thought I had sent you a message.
I finally seem to have found how to use private messages. I guess once you get it figured out it probably works fine. I am still hoping to find someone local to pick this stuff up. It is expensive to ship. What the local retail shipper tells me is that it will run close to $200. to ship all of it. That was based on a Calif. destination. There is about 150 Lbs of all the items. If no one near commits soom I will get back to you. John
-
All the Amiga items were picked up today. Thanks to all who replied. The person who picked it up drove about 200 miles one way to get here. It was still a lot less costly than having it shipped. John
-
And they lived happily ever after.
The End.
