Title: Looking for BLIZZARD PPC (could patially swap with Bliz1260)
Post by: starf81 on November 14, 2006, 07:58:46 PM
Hello!

I've taken my decision: I want try the PPC and Bivision experience on my A1200!  :-D

Now... I'm looking for a Blizzard PPC.
My favourite choice is the 060 with SCSI version. In this case I can also partially exchange it with my mint Blizzard 1260 and SCSI IV board.
However, if you have other versions I'll be glad to listen to your proposal! ;-)

Let me know if you have also a Bivision graphic card.

Thanks in advance for your interest!!!
Alex

I've got one with PPC@200MHz and 68040@25MHz, without SCSI or BVision.

I'm not completely sure yet if I want to sell it, but since I've decided to have my A4000 as a main machine, my A1200 could do pretty well with a somewhat slower card.
An 030@50MHz (f.i. BlizzardIV) would be sufficient, although an 060 would be very nice of course.

If the offer is good enough, I might as well sell my card and invest in my A4000. So if you're interested in this card, drop me an offer.

Cheers,
Eric

Thanks for your offer. This is not the "best" configuration I looked for, however I've sent you a Pmail. Let me know...

Be sure to check what Revision the ppc board is. I got a ppc Rev. 0 and its bugging with bVision and grex :(

Other Rev. is fine...

Works fine with Aga though... I used way much time with the card, why not go all the way and get a pegasos (I have just gotten one, great stuff!)

I can offer you a BlizzardPPC 603+ @ 200Mhz & 68040/25. It's equiped with 64MB ram. The kit includes the entire SCSI kit (origial cable, adapter to 50 pin SCSI and 68 pin SCSI devices and active terminator.
Also included in that kit is a 4.5 GB Quantum AtlasII SCSI harddisk which comes with an instlled and *registered* version of MorphOS (no time out).
The compagnion BVision is manufactured by DCE.

The entire setup is on the go (I used it rarely lately, the Pegasos is my main maschine), but I'd split it up also into the BVision and the Blizzard+RAM and the SCSI stuff.

Location is Germany, shipment to Italy should be easy (I'd rather like to bring it personally to Italy, never leave a chance to go there... ;-)).

If interested drop me a pm or an email to "ulrich beckers|a|web de" (white spaces are dots). Price for the entire setup (Blizzard, SCSI kit, BVision) is 350 EUR (fix).
I don't know the revion (can't figure it out now, no CDROM or network card connected to that maschine to feed it with 'whichamiga') but the BVion and Blizzard work properly together.
