This machine has ran OS3.9 comfortably for years and has been running OS4.0 beta for the past 2 years without issue. It is in good working order and I will be sad to see it go. Please dont make me ebay it off...
Im happy to discuss a price, though I do have one in mind. And I'd happily pass out my phone number if anyone wants to chat to me about the above machine.

:-o
*You* dumping your beloved OS4 machine? Right, that's it. OS4 is *never* going to be released.
-
Yeah, I lost my job the other week and with mounting debts I have to do something...
Besides after my usergroup got derailed earlier in the year I've kinda lost interest in the scene and haven't really used my amiga's for months now. Sad but true...
And I never thought I'd see the day either....
-
OS4 was released for Classic + PPC ?
-
@ThemagigM
I think Ryu was some sort of beta tester.

OS4 was released for Classic + PPC ?
Define "released". It is available to some selected betatesters.
Development of the CyberstomPPC and BlizzardPPC versions is basically on par with the AmigaOne version, but for some reason, Hyperion doesn't want to release it.
Maybe they are waiting until the last potential OS4-buyer has left the scene...

Ryu
really sorry to here this hope you find another solution
p.s. check your PM
-
thats too bad. it would be great for that to be a option for classic Amiga users.
1. leave the beta install file on the hard drive
2. "delete it"..
3. drop a hint about the "undelete" option
4. OS4 beta for classic ppc available
5. bittorrent
6. profit.
7. just kidding.

Ryo:
Thats a very sad story, i'll sure hope you find some other solution to fix your financial problems.
-
*bump*
If anyone collects I'd also throw in 40 or more boxed games and a few hundred DD disks if the buyer wants them.
-
Ryo: whats your location, and do you have any price on your mind?

Daz, are you leaving for good or do you see yourself coming back when things are more financially healthy for you? :-?

Shame about this, yours is a name I associate with sensible replies and level-headedness. One of the few really!
-
Im not leaving dude, just not using my amiga's and I need the money...
Should I find myself financially solvent again and theres some decent hardware to buy I'll probably buy into it but I dunno if I'll ever return to putting in the number of hours into the scene as i used too...

*bump* :-)
