Title: Joystick problems - please help me out
Post by: sweetface on November 12, 2006, 01:26:13 PM
Hi. I'm having problems with my joysticks on my A1200. I have a mouse/Joystick splitter, the mouse and buttons work fine but the joystick won't move left/right but it will move up and down and the fire buttons work. I've tried another joystick but it's the same problem. I've even tried them without the splitter but it's the same.

Could anyone tell me if this is a hardware problem or a software thing and what I should be looking for. Gotta get it back working for the kids. This happened very suddenly. :-?

Thanks

Amiga mouse/joystick pinout (http://www.technick.net/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=pinconjoy_amiga_mouse_joy)

And get yourself a multimeter or something like that.
