Title: Help With Flash Update For CyberstormPPC and G-Rex suport

I'm having major dramas flashing my CyberstormPPC so please point me out were I've gone wrong! Heres what I'd done so far-

(1) Downloaded the "G-REX CyberPCI Library V2.2 Flash update" from the G-Rex support site.

(2)unzipped into a work partition.

(3) Located the PPCUpdate file and placed it into a newly formated empty floppy disk.

(4) Rebooted the computer holding down "s" and pressing the two mouse buttons to enter the early boot menu.

(5) Disabled all HD drives except floppy.


(6) select "boot with no startup sequence"

Then the floppy fires up a few seconds and I get a Amiga DOS screen-

 "Amiga Rom Operating system and Libraries
  Copyright @ 1985-2002 Amiga, Inc.
  All Rights Reserved
  1>"

So am I supposed to enter some command now or was the flash  utilities supposed to boot from floppy? Or have I just completely overlooked something!

CD to DF0: and type

PPCUpdate (return)

don't touch anything (don't even breath) and wait the Done

That was nerve wrecking but hey it worked! :-)

I noticed in the documentation there is a reverence to a specific flash update only for DCE made cyberstorms.

Mine appears to be manufactured by DCE but I installed the ordinary update because it wasn't included in that Archive.
Doe's it matter and what's the difference?

its ok the one you applied.

About the other 512K FlashUpdate, no clue. Never seen one.
