Title: Cltd Kronos controller/hd
Post by: bhmrichard on November 09, 2006, 10:44:42 PM
I've been working on getting my A2000 up and running again, and with help/input from several around here, I'm happy to report that nearly everything is up and running fine.

The only issue that I'm having a problem with at this point is the external 50meg hard drive from Cltd.

The drive does support autoboot, however it's not doing it. I had one floppy disk that had the correct mountlist & driver on it so that I could mount the drive with the disk, and run the "setautoboot" program that would start the drive autobooting again.

Problem: The ONE disk that I can find that was setup to kick the hard drive in, is bad :( - so now I don't have a correct mountlist / drivers to get dh0: mounted/reformated/restored.

I've been searching the Inet for information on the mountlist setup and maybe somewhere to grab the drivers from without much success.  Anyone happen to have any info about the kronos card / driver that might be helpful?

Thanks,
Richard

Hmm potentially.. The HD utils say they don't work with the kronos controller card, but it's the actual scsi driver that I'm looking for, and the site does have what it calls a "replacement" for the factory driver so...

I'll check it out, thanks much!
