Since my A1200 is getting old and she refuses to boot more and more, I decided for the mean while to get WinUAE running.
So I've installed WinUAE, transferred my roms, and tried that route.. Ok, I get WB3.1 installed and all, but, I have no clue whatsoever how to use the bsdsocket thing.. IP stack and whatnot, I have never used my real Amiga for getting online, but I'd like to give it a try.
Is there a quickstart or howto for WB3.1 users??
btw, I've been lurking here, well since forever LOL I'm useally not someone who asks questions unless I really don't know how to proceed next :-P

Tick BSDsocket.library emulation in Winuae/Misc and when an Amiga program tries to get access to the net the windows side will do the connecting via which ever way you connect to the net.

So, I just go install IBrowse or Voyager and it should work?

Yes,there is no need to install a tcp/ip stack on the Amiga side just for net access.
Download the files then transfer them over to the Amiga side then install.

Ok thanks :-) going to try that.

YAY! Using Ibrowse now :) Need to promote to a higher screen mode though *g* Its crammed now..
