I finally got my project Amiga 2000 running! It has 3.1 ROMs, MegaChip2000, RCS Fusion 040/28MHz w/32MB, GVP Series II w/ 4.15 ROM & 2GB SCSI HD, and a Toaster 2000 card! Now to get the toaster setup... (still a noob with this)
Problems I was having:
1. Toaster caught on fire, yes I smoked my toaster! Good thing I was in the other room when I smelled it. Turned A2000 right off. Luckily I had the cover off as I was doing some upgrades. I saw a flame coming out of the Toaster card! NewTek fixed it for free of course!
2. RCS Fusion Forty card. I needed Plug'N Play ROMS 3.4 to get it running with 3.1, finally found a set (Thanks AllenPPC!) and then got some 4MB 30 pin SIMMs. It almost worked. It would hang half the time when FastKicking the the ROM and enabling RAM. This stumped me for months, I finally got some matching SIMMs and reseated all the socketted chips on the card and presto! Working like a champ with 32MB!

Excellent, TJ. The MegaChip makes all the difference in the world!

Awesome! Now all ya need is a TBCIV, PAR, and an AD516. It'll make a great animation station.
Or just chunck down for VT4000 and Flyer set up.
heh
Took a look at your Amiga collection list. My wife wants me to get rid of my "junk"...

Get yourself a Subway USB controller (for all the commensurate perhiperals you can add there) and add a Buddah IDE controller (for an inexpensive CD/DVD +/- R/RW) now. :-)
