Title: Human Cow Hybrid
Post by: asian1 on November 07, 2006, 01:53:53 PM
If they put the embryo inside human womb, what is the result?

From New Scientist:

"Scientists in the UK applied on Monday for permission to create part-cow, part-human embryos for research aimed at treating diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
The procedure would involve inserting human DNA into cows’ eggs that have had their own genetic material removed. The embryos created from this process would then be almost entirely “human”, with the only cow DNA being outside the cells’ nuclei.
If they manage to pull off the feat, the human-bovine embryos would not be allowed to develop for more than a few days, the researchers say.
The hybrid embryos would be used to produce embryonic stem cells, which have huge potential for treating disease. At present, embryonic stem cells have to be obtained from unwanted early stage human embryos left over from in-vitro fertilisation treatments. Using cow eggs would potentially give researchers a far greater supply of stem cell material."

Whatever the outcome, I'm pretty sure you couldn't run OS4 on it... :-P

Okay, let me be the first...

If my memory serves, in fact I recall that I may well have married (and subsequently divorced) it.

You might need to explain that one Speel...  She's quite lovely!

Well, it looks like she's hosting one of those annoying game shows on TV.

She doesn't look all bad, tho'! B-)

I'd most definitely swap my half-bovine ex-wife for her...

Oh hang on, there's bound to be a catch somewhere.  This is when Speel turns round and says "she used to be a man.  Called Graham".

I think I'll make a grab for the mind bleach just in case...

In defense of her...all the text the presenters of those lame call-in games say is being served to them via an in-ear headphone. =)

Don't let yourself be fooled by this happytits with her seed-demanding eyes.

Okay, so stimulating conversation might be out of the question but I'm sure I could think of another way of spending quality time with the lady in question...

Put her on a mountain bike and dress her in tight lycra shorts and then she'd be my perfect woman...  Provided of course her father owns a brewery.

Good lord. Spend a few months away from the Org (this Org, not the Scientology-one), and conversation quality drops like a lead balloon. Right now we're at 'dressing up television-gameshow hostesses in tight lycra shorts' to make her into PMCs perfect woman. Jeez!

PMC, there's more to life than cycling, you know. Repeat after me: women in lycra do not cut the mustard. Latex, now, there's a different story. Black, or red, preferably. Although I doubt Ms. Brainless Blonde has sufficient curves to fill out  something like this (http://thelatexstore.com/proddetail.php?prod=MB420&cat=15&nav=) or this (http://thelatexstore.com/proddetail.php?prod=MB468&cat=13&nav=). Glad to be of help to run the quality of this thread into the ground properly.

(Warning: do not open the above links while at work or with your significant other watching over your back. I take no responsibility for pink slips or pointed instructions to spend a few nights on the couch in the living room.)

Thanks for the warning *after* the links in question, the folks in the uni computerroom looked at me in a rather odd way .

Besides, everybody knows neoprene (http://www.watersportswarehouse.co.uk/ishop/images/893/iqhydratecshortie.jpg) beats both lycra and latex!

Loving this thread... Does anyone else want to post a picture of some random lovely?

Like these:

and my personal favourite, partly because she rides the same bike as me (and hails from the Netherlands, thus indulging my well documented weakness for Dutch ladies):

Hopefully they don't cut any cheese either  ;-)

@ All

Ja, that woman's eyes are indeed like spanners. Now I could tell you everything I've learned from careful observation of our Y-defficient co-habitants, but that would take some time and we might get some heckling from Aunt Cece  :-P

I like that second sample, she's very pretty, but she needs feeding. You couldn't hit her with a handful of corn. I prefer them a bit more substantial like our very own Blobzie.

@X-Ray

I see what you mean, she really could do with a burger or three.  The Dutch lady Freerider gets my vote, hehe.

However I was under the impression that la Blob was more of a wee slip of a gurrul (imitating Scots accent) judging from her pic on Faces of A.Org.

--------------------------------------------------------

I think that's just the angle of the photo. You could definitely get her with a handful of corn. That's not to say I think she is heavy, because clearly that isn't the case. But she's built strong, and that's good for her. When you're lugging heavy telescopes around you need a good frame, you know  :-P

 Er...no not quite, it's kinda like whabang's idea but motorised. It's incredible how inventive the human mind can be    :-D.

But I had to google for the link and ofcourse also 'stumbled' across the 'dildobike', also very inventive!
