Hello!
Inside my new A3000, I've found also a GVP A2000-RAM8 card.
Do you know its jumper settings? Unfortunately my Amiga seems accepting only the ram onboard and not the 30-pins simms. The previous owner said me that the card works perfectly so I think it can be only a wrong jumper setting. Can you help me?
Here is the card: LINK 1 (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/gvp2008) and LINK 2 (http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/gvp2008)
Thanks in advance!

I take it you've tried the combination from the photo on Amiga Resource?
J5 OFF J3 OFF
J6 ON
J7 OFF
J8 ON
J9 OFF
J10 OFF
J15 ON
J15 is in the centre of the board, lower left of the QFP chip.

Hi,
Here ya go, don't know if the text formatting will be okay when I post this:
MEMORY DIPS SIMM J5 J6 J7 J8 J9 J10
(MB) PRESENT LOCATIONS
==========================================================
2 YES All Empty OFF ON OFF OFF ON OFF
4 YES CN12-CN13 ON OFF OFF OFF ON OFF
6 YES CN12-CN15 OFF OFF ON ON OFF OFF
8 YES CN12-CN17 OFF ON OFF ON OFF OFF
8* NO CN12-CN13 ON OFF OFF OFF OFF ON
*Note: This configuration uses the SIMM8 - 4MB which requires that only two of these are present and that there are no DIPS in their sockets.
