Title: Amiga 4000 and Mac cinema display?
Post by: Akiko on November 04, 2006, 02:33:00 PM

I'm retiring my soon 3 years old PC (now ancient!) in favor of a new Mac Pro with 23" cinema display.

So might it be possible to also use this display with a voodoo or Picasso IV, tru some kinda adapter?
Also SD/FF by Picasso likely to still work?

Any help appreciated :-)

You'll need the DVI/VGA adapter to plug it, in but the monitor should sync to a proper VGA signal.

Edit: I looked through the display adapters at Apple, however, and the only DVI/VGA adapters are for the computers...no guarantee it would work with monitor.  I would suggest a nice inexpensive VGA flat panel for your Amiga if you get this for your Mac.  I bought a 17" Apple display for my G5 tower.  I think they're asking too much money for the display myself.
