Well, I do wake up at 6 AM on a Friday morning.

Saturday mornings are meant for sleeping in till at least lunchtime, being lazy and telling the world to feck off

Flogging himself with twigs whilst trying to purge the previous night's dream involving that really handsome fireman?

Funny, some people used to freak out when I posted a Fridayyyyyyyy thread, damned time zones. I can recall Mr. "Hey Yo!" trying to shut the Fridays threads down, blatent {bleep}ishness if you ask me
Karlos wrote:
It's those damned EU rules, I'm afraid. Friiiiidaaay threads can only be posted by Whabang during Friday as observed in Sweden. Other topics must be accurately labelled "Friiiiidaaay style"...
Aye! It's a bad thing we don't have a proper pint-emoticon anymore, though. :(
We do, :drink:
It's only one character longer :D
'drink'?
This is blasphemy! It implies I'm drinking something that isn't beer! :(
What are those 'other beverages' that people keep telling me about?
Nothing beats a great beer on a weekend!! Cheers!! :drink:
I should have revived a weekend-thread instead. ^^
In my case, water, fruit juices, various herbal teas, that sort of thing
A pint of 'erbal tea ey? Sounds almost as bad as Aloe Vera juice  Speaking of which, I must pour myself a glass ;)
Did you ever get used to it, or is it still like being forced to drink the contents of a kidney dish that contains the freshly rinsed out contents of your auditory canal?
I mix it with fruit juice, can't even taste it anymore, settles my stomach so all is good :)
:drink: (http://extropia.co.uk/img/puke.gif)
Ok, I don't get it. What has happened recently? Why is "everyones" avatar some 3D dude saying "problem?" Is this some kind of meme? Are you guys having a virtual theme party?

It's a fetish thing.
Oh yes, the favourite amiga.org emoticon is back: -> :pint:
Typing that extra character wastes valuable time... Also, "pint" is much more appealing for us Brits :)
Yeah! Do it! And : chips : with the British sense of the word!
If I start, I won't stop and the place will be chock full of weebl&bob related smilies. Which may upset Jonti and he'll ban me from the weebl's stuff forums...
At least add : pants :, with the British meaning :afro:
What would be the perfect emoticon for that, though?
I've always wondered why we didn't have things like : boing : , : check : etc.
A pair of pants, clearly.
How easy is it to add them?
Ah, right. I thought you meant the proper British meaning :roflmao:
Easy enough, not sure whether or not there's any issues associated with using those particular images though.
I re-added "pint" as it got annoying seeing it broken as :p int: everywhere, what with all the necromancery that's been going on.
I did, in its adjectival form :)
Surely if somebody creates the image, rather than copying it from somewhere else, then it's not an issue? Or does it not work that way with trademarks?
Yeah, I noticed that too.
I'd even knock them up myself.Leave Sabrina and Amy alone, you pervert! ;)
Happy new year, lads! :pint:
Also, don't have unprotected phone sex - you might get hearing aids!
Don't wish to be a buzz killer... BUT... what's so special about Fridays ???/me grabs pitchfork
(Apart from Friday Night SmackDown of course :))
/me grabs pitchfork
But what's so special about FRIIIIIIDAAAY!, before you stick me with that pitchfork... :)
I sort of miss that weekly celebration a wee bit, though being Tee Total now for nearly seven years if I ever had to go back to work I'd need to practise drinking again first... :)
The socks thing becomes an everyday occurrence when you retire... :)
my new job involves a 3 hour (in total) daily commute.
Friiiiidaaay is awesome. I can stay up late (though i am half asleep already) watch a movie, do a spot of coding and not worry about the fact i have to get up again to make that same irritating journey.
You hear that Matthew? Retirement is something to look forward to after all :roflmao:
 Now I have a mental image of an ageing Matt in a kinky retirement sock-fest :nervous:That is just wrong!
Edit- like this!

FFFFFFRRRRRIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Yes it is indeed Friday...well in before whabang! Another looong day for me, although at least i'll have time to pop home for some dinner this time :D
Damn you!
Damn, I need to move to another time zone!
Hello from the future :D
Damn you and your early Fridays! :D
But it also sucks, because when we're working Monday mornings, you northerners are still partying to your heart's content.
Yay! I got here before the ANZAC crowd! :D
Was trying to be nice :D
Only those with jobs they don't care too much are partying hard on Sunday night ;)
Haha! First again :POh you better belive it! :D
Well, we made it to another FFRRRRRRIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Oh you better belive it! :D
Plane leaves at 6:20 tomorrow morning. Next stop: Las Palmas! :afro:
This Las Palmas?

I hate you, well not really, but you know what I mean
*bump*
Anyone else recovering from St. Patrick's day? :pint:
Not St. Patrick's Day, but the following outright and unprovoked assault on our favourite day of the week.
WARNING: Content so appallingly bad you'll want to rupture your eardrums with screwdrivers and gouge your eyes out with an ice cream scoop. After prolonged exposure, even performing An Hero will seem like a good idea.

Which ones do you play?
Thread got me thinking about Russell Howard's Good News on BBC Three and this particular youtube video.
This is up there with Rick Astley and *whispers* the Doom-master... check out the number of dislikes!

You sick puppy...
Have you guys cancelled your Friday's these days, as no one seems to post on them lately... :)
Been too busy to have even noticed what day of the week it is for the last month...
Have you guys cancelled your Friday's these days, as no one seems to post on them lately... :)
Nope, just being verrry busy with life! :D
last weekend for instance I've been beachsailing with wind force 6. :D
Usually it's the parents-in-law..
But yeah. FRIDAY. Off to try and find a buddy from uni with some other friends tomorrow. Nobody has seen him in about two years, not answering e-mail, phone, etc. Time to go scout out his hometown. Sunday I'm competing in a Munchkin tournament, which I'll utterly lose no doubt =).
I'm helping out at an activity day for autistic kids tomorrow. Should be fun :)
And? How was it?
It was awesome! I narrowly escaped being consigned to the messy play area (shaving foam and cornflower in water - I can't bear those textures!)Cornflower texture, as in the scent? Though messy play areas and autistic kids, does that work?
I spent most of the day helping a load of the kids build a tower of blocks bigger than a guy in a Bob the Builder costume. Construction activities with children normally frustrate me because they don't do it right, but these kids built their tower in a nice regular pattern with matched colours ;)Ah, the 'clean of mind' ;)

Ah, the 'clean of mind' ;)
Oops, no I meant cornflour.Ah I suspected such but I'm never sure as I'm not a native English speaker
I can't bear to touch it in it's liquid form.
I never liked it because it was chaos.
There always seem to be messy play areas available, but my experience so far has been that most autistic kids (and adults) don't like messy play due to sensory aversions. Those people who seek those particular sensations would no doubt enjoy it, but fortunately for me I haven't encountered any yet so I haven't had to join them
Or my own autistic tendencies perhaps :)
Oops, no I meant cornflour. Like this
...

that's what I implied ;)
So, is it just cornflower suspended in water that you can't bear or is it all Non-Newtonian fluids?
Time for some beer and car DIYing.
Might I suggest you attempt the latter first ;)
:bump::bump::bump::bump:indeed!
Friday again peoples! Am planning to acquaint myself with Traktor Scratch Pro 2 this weekend so that should take up a good chunk of the weekend. I hope Odin has that Saab back together by now  Cheers :pint:
In before the ANZAC crowd! :afro:
