Title: Software Failure C:version
Post by: pan1k on November 03, 2006, 05:06:39 PM
Dangit.. I got a new router for my birthday, and I fired up the A1200 today and I get a software failure: #80000004 C:version anyone know what's up with that and how to fix? I have a feeling my PPC card is failing. :(

Ok. It get's weirder now. None of my accelerators work, I swapped two power supplies. When the BPPC is in, I get a flashing red screen, and when the B1260 is in, I get a flashing grey screen. I took the accelerators out and it boots. What gives?!

Thanks for any help. . .  :pissed:

That doesn't sound too promising I'm afraid. Got a spare A1200 mobo around?

Tried a different 1200 mobo, same thing. I don't get it, how could both my accelerators be toast? OMG! If that's what it is . . . The power LED keeps flashing and the screen does too.. two different mobo's and two different accelerators. I have swapped memory, thought of just about everything. *sigh*

Update: I got it to boot off the floppy and just reinstalled workbench. Both accelerators are working now. I'm even more confused . . .
