Anybody who works a normal week for the private sector should really consider upping sticks and working for the council.
Just look how well they treat their employees (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/6108372.stm)! :-D

I work for the council, and I can tell you, its cushy as hell! Flexible working, reasonably good pay, one of the best pension schemes going :-D
But still not the potential fly up the career ladder to earn shedloads, like working in the Sh!tty for an investment bank.
