Title: A570 game compatibility with CDTV
Post by: amigasrule on October 30, 2006, 12:47:30 PM
Hi there, got my hands on an A570 CD drive that still works! Well expect for the volume control which seems to have no effect on volume :-?
And I had to evict a spider that had made a home inside the case.

But my question is this... back when www.cdtv.org.uk was up and running they had a list of all CDTV CDs that worked fine on an A570. They've since vanished and I'm having trouble sourcing another list, anybody know of any sites that have the info I'm after??

 :-)

The volume control only effects the 1/4" jack on the front, not the volume that comes out the rear connectors. :-)

As for the games, pass. I got that information from a games flyer that came with the CDTV.
Apart from games that dont kickstarts above 1.3 the only real difference is the A570 doesnt have the memory card slot.. so I would think "most" games would still work.

While I work at getting a new hosting company, you could always use the archived version from the wayback machine at:
