Doing a skydive for charity tomorrow!
-
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would willingly jump out of a perfectly servicable aircraft.
Good luck :-D
-
Good luck with that!
I bet once you did it, it'll be a case of "yeah! let's do it again!"
-
Best of luck to you my friend, now remember to be extra nice to the bloke that packs your chute ;-)
-
Best of luck !!#
I hope we see you on here again afterwards :-P
-
Preferably without being 5 foot shorter, too.

Surely there are cleaner good-luck talismans you could take with you?
-

Maybe that was the plan all along ...
Maybe the jump wasn't really supposed to go ahead at all
You can raise money for charity and have a cunning plan at the same time you know.
Sorry, couldn't resist ;-)
-
You definately have a point there, mate :-D
-
I was thinking this (re the weather) but the instructor said that they jump all through the winter, and that the only way winter affects them is the fact that you have less hours of daylight. I suppose when you think about how many consecutive days of brilliant weather we have in England each year, he kind of has a point.

...in the silence that followed, our man distintly heard someone utter "heh heh heh, sucker" sotto voce.
-
Today's my rescheduled date!
A friend has kindly offered to turn out at this hour on a Saturday morning and she'll be picking me up in a few mins
Fingers crossed it'll go ahead today!
-
Best of luck Cyberus (the dude with the awesome name) :-)
-
Frickin ey dude, you get to jump out of a plane and gather money for a charity with it? Heck, I'd pay to do the same!
-
It was effing amazing!!!!!!!
Seriously, you should all try it. The moment I landed I wanted to do it again.
-
No no no,i would never do a thing like that, but i admire you pal for doing it.. :-o
-
Congrats dude!
Glad you made it back :-P
I could never do it unless it was an emergency situation :nervous:
-
Thanks
To be honest it wasn't actually scary, just surreal. I guess it must have been the adrenaline. It was like some bizarre dream...
