Howdy all, does anyone want to sell there amiga one Im in Australia and Im willing to pay top dollar. Cheers too ya all.
-
Good luck trying to find one!
And you'll more than likely pay "over the top dollar"! :-D
eBay's probably your best bet, but have you asked these guys? http://www.anythingamiga.com/

Yes I emailed them but no reply, somebody must have a price. Cheers
-
I haven't used mine much for a few months but I'm not yet at the stage where i could part with it.
I've also been considering floggoing my Peg1 for many months but still haven't been able to bring myself to do so.
-
Wait if at all ACK board is released, or Samantha.
The A1 has many hardware bugs that made it a bit of a pain.
-
Ok lets expand the options, preferance 1 still stands for Amiga one, 2. Amiga 4000 D or T with a PPC processor to run OS4, or 3rd a Pegasos with 1Ghz CPU. I suppose my chances are now better. Cheers too you all
-
You can't run OS4 on a classic Amiga with PPC card unless you have the beta version. Otherwise the only way of running it is on an AmigaOne.
My advice would be to get a Pegasos. They're cheaper than AmigaOnes, they're available now, and MorphOS is great.

I thought he was speaking about amiga? If somebody wants cheap computer he should buy PC and windows is much better supported than Morph OS
-
MorphOS supports Amiga software better than Windows.

@motorollin
Well, I have an A1-XE G4 with OS4, and Peg1 April2 with MOS 1.4.5. If I *had* to get rid of one, the Peg would go, no contest.
-
Maybe so. But the OP wants something now. I was just saying that if he can't find an A1, the Peg is a good compromise.

Unless your desperate and I mean really desperate just wait for the new hardware.
A Samantha port should already be well in progress, it's supposedly very reasonably priced and ofcourse include a full warranty.
Personally I don't hold much hope that anything will ever materialize from "ack"... Hope I'm proved wrong on this!
-
Ill probably have to wait, yeah been hovering in and out of these forums for a few years but havent used an Amiga properly other than Amiga Forever for many many years, Im in that I want it now syndrome, I want a new toy thats all and I want it now :-D

I didnt even think that the hardware was fully finished yet? The only thing i have heard is that hyperion has gotten their hands on the panda, which is a entirely different project.
-
Sorry got mixed up with the panda!.. Samantha completion date anyone?
Atleast we know Samantha will get a license, hope reaches hyperion real soon..
