Hi,
With the help of some people on these forums yesterday, I finally managed to successfully install OS3.9 on my A1200.
But OS3.9 is not recognising that I have a Squirrel SCSI CD-ROM drive. If I try and install the Squirrel software from the PowerC floppy supplied with cable, it starts to install Workbench 3.0 files over the top of my OS3.9 installation, but at least it then works!
Is there a way I can get OS3.9 to recognise my CD-ROM without replacing OS3.9 files??
Thanks,
Steve.

Just change the CD0 dosdriver in DEVS to point to squirrelscsi.device instead of atapi.device, and make sure squirrelscsi.device is in DEVS: Basically, just do what you did with the bootdisk.

Simply copy squirrelscsi.device from the floppy to devs: and then ammend the CD0 mount file to reflect squirrelscsi.device and appropriate unit number.
