Hey guys, I recently bought a BigFoot Power Supply for my A1200, thinking it would eliminate the freezing of my machine when I used the WiFi card. Now, i'm trying to configure Miami Deluxe again, but it freezes just setting up the card. I've tried using both my Blizzard 1260 and my Blizzard PPC card, still freezes up when I try to query the card. Any ideas? :( It either freezes on the query screen or crashes the entire program.

Are you sure the wireless card is a compatible model? Does it only freeze sometimes or does it never work?

It used to work. It's a NetGear MA401. Miami is doing this:
Can't open Unit 0, or quits with an 80000008 error. My wired card works fine. I think maybe the card went bad, I hope not . . .

It sounds like it, unless you changed something (like the driver version or Miami's parameters) just before it started giving trouble.
That 80000008 error is interesting though. Any possibility of trying it in a laptop PC?

OK. Now i'm able to get online. I messed around with the device number, popped 1 in the box, didnt work, deleted it, put 0 back in, and *poof* it worked. Now it's locking up after just a few mins. Any ideas? It's making me

hum, MCP or any eyecandy in your system ?

Pardon my ignorance but what eye candy are you referring too? What's MPC?? If eye candy means GUI i'm just running MagicWB. I think it might be the router crapping out. I'm going to test it with my neighbors setup for a sec.
Update: Everything seems to work fine now. I guess Miami was being a little wacky, and my router appears to be toasted! It keeps disconnecting my iMac and reconnecting, sooo annoying, but it's got to be at least 4 years old. Oh, and thanks again Neil for making this possible! :) Oh Happy day.
