Title: Music software that contained a Dubussy example
Post by: jmatxx on October 18, 2006, 07:50:46 AM
I had an Amiga 500 and a rudimentary software program that allowed me to compose and edit music by entering the notes and timings directly on the staffs.   One of the examples that came with the program was a composition by Debussy.  I'm trying to recall that piece.  If this rings a bell with anyone, I'd appreciate knowing the song title.  Thanks.

"Debussy 1st Arabesque" is the composition's name in Deluxe Music Construction Set.  I believe it is known by everyone else as Claude Debussy's Arabesque No.1 :-)

Link (http://amiga.emucamp.com/deluxemusic.htm) to a free download of the latest version of DMCS (with the example scores) for amiga, if you want to relive it through an amiga or an amiga emulator.

Holy crap!

That's good to know. I have the original DMCS, and if the disk goes bad, at least theres a good downloadable version. Thanks.
