Amigos..
From my early memories of the amiga, (approx. in 1989) i played this shoot-em up game, where the main character was a neanderthal guy, (with possibly a club), or just his hands.. i don't remember. His mission was to bash beasts, as he walked around in this pre-historic scenery!
But the most important thing i remember, is the pan-pipe music at the game intro. I often just played this game so i could listen to these soothing tones...!
But i don't remember the titel.. can anyone help with this one..? And is it possible to listen, to just the game music, once more?
A final wish, from a hopeful guy! :-)

Could it be... Kid Chaos? Good music, nice gfx.. fun to play :-)
-
Chuck Rock?

hehe no it's neither..
Dude..heh.. Kid chaos is fully dressed.. :-)
In this game he is wearing barely nothing so it's not him.. he might be wearing some rags...! But keep guessing... :-)

Make-A-Wish is really lowering it's standards.

Yes, there is plenty of websites that has the orginal ingame music of amiga games in modules"tracker" format. These are playable on a windows pc using winamp. I sadly do not have any links in my head though, but do a search on google for amiga games modules.

I remember Chuck Rock had 'rock' music on the title screen... appropriate really...

uhm.. Shadow of the Beast?

Shadow of the beast? (http://hol.abime.net/1891)
Could be confused as being prehistoric..
Pretty cool music (http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/archive/Authors/Game/Whittaker_David/Shadow_of_the_Beast.lha) too.
I personally use XMPlay (http://www.un4seen.com/) or DeliPlayer (http://www.deliplayer.com/) to play back Amiga music, much better sound quality than WinAMP.
Edit: Doh, deja vu

Hmmm... Barbarian?

It must undoubtably be Prehistorik. Neanderthal guy, club, little dino which you whack unconscious and then eat them, and the panflute tunes. Can't miss! :-)
-
Oh did i say neanderthal guy? I Ment Shiny red car..
it was: "Car-Vup"
hehe okay kidding...
I think it was SOTB 2 - yeah it really looks like the right game. Prehistorik was.. well hehe a valid guess, but its just too "looney" of a game, the one i was talking about is a more serious one. But now i know why i diden't think of trying SOTB 2, simply because it WONT run on my A1200. Ive tried using Relocate, to change the Chipset and ram, but nothing works.. Maybe its just not compliant with A1200.
Oh well, guess i will never know..!.. :-)

Maybe it's Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja (http://hol.abime.net/804)?

Or maybe it even is Altered Beast (http://hol.abime.net/3252/screenshot)???

maybe .. Big Nose The CaveMan? (codemasters).
