Hi alla amigaheros!
I have a problem I hope someone can help me with. I have try to connect my A600 to my widescreen tv. But the sound do not whant to work properly. I have to have the volym on the highest to her something. And I have tried to connect it to my stereo via my tv and I have the same problem.
I use a cable with a scart contact in one side and in the other side there are one red and one black cable together with a cable that you usually plug in at the back of the computer.
Do someone know why the sound is so bad?

Try plugging the amiga directly into the hifi. then you will know if there is a problem with the output signal or the TV. there may also be a dodgy lead, is the sound distorted???

I have tried it before and it was the same thing, and I don't think is something wrong with the sound becase the Amiga work on a commodore TV.

I've played a lot on TV via scart with A500 and never had any problem with sound.
As your audio is operational and you have problem with both channels I guess there is a problem with GND signal for audio.
Good luck

Use the sound output instead of the aerial output. then you would also get stereo sound...

Have you made sure that the scart lead is an INPUT type not an OUTPUT type. If the video is OK then the lead is likely to be OK but it is a thought.
Just a thought.
