Decided to split the 'ultimate' settup huh? Hope it works out for you.
-
Probably for the better. He'll get more $ for it that way, for sure.
-
Ja
-
Wow, it went quickly my mate...I reckoned it would, at less than £250...
-
Yeah that was cheap, if only it wasnt down under I would have snapped it up.
-
You sold an A4000T for a mere $250??!
-
250 GBP.. almost 500 USD.
I paid 475 USD for my new 4000T.
-
Still way lower than the market would dictate - I would have paid close to twice the "buy it now" price on the Tower sans upgrades, but for some reason this dude's brain just couldn't interface properly with Ebay....

Maybe he just thinks that asking top prices isn't really fair.
It's ludicrous as it is already with people buying outrageous prices for hardware that's over 10 years old.
I have been lucky enough to acquire a lot of my Amiga hardware for way too low prices (according to the market), and if I would be selling anything to a true Amiga fan, I wouldn't ask a top price either. I think us Amigans should help eachother in need, instead of only thinking about the highest profit.
F.i. I bought a BPPC card for 50 Euro, which would probably go for at least double that amount on Ebay. If I ever decide to sell it, I won't be asking 150 Euro as a starting bid.
Same thing with the A1000 that I'm picking up next week. I will get it free, so if anyone wants an A1000, I'll send it to you for just the p&p costs.
But maybe I'm being too dreamy about a non-profit Amiga world. :-)

I already thought I would. :-(
Anyway, I'll be better off then, getting Amiga stuff for free and selling it again for big prices
