Hey,

I have an iMac 1 GhZ ... With all that it needs...

On it I have an AmigaClassiX4 CD installed.. Is there
a ROM in that ?  Could I with that also Load AMOS ?..

I Also have some Amigas but no Idea how to get the ROM... :S

AmigaClassiX4 must have UEA or not ? ... :S

Help me : )  Want to turn my iMac AMIGA... Or some of it...

A normal log in and a AMIGA login... By the way.. Dont
explain to prof... do as if I was a child .. 10 or so :) *LOL*

Hi,

Have a look at these FAQs (http://www.winuae.hpg.ig.com.br/faq.htm) that describe how to transfer a ROM image from a real Amiga.

I'd have thought Amiga Classix (http://www.vesalia.com/e_amigaclassix4.htm) would have had UAE included to provide the emulation, but I don't know if it comes with its own ROM images. I was under the impression that Amiga Forever (http://www.amigaforever.com/) was the only legal way to get the ROM images on CD...

P.S. In answer to your first question, AMOS runs fine under UAE...

I have one of the Amiga ClassiX CDs.  It has an illegal copy of Kickstart 1.3 ROM file on it.

In order to run UAE on the Mac you'll need to download EUAE (http://www.rcdrummond.net/uae/) and the SDL (http://www.libsdl.org/) library.

If you can't read the Amiga disks on your Mac, you can download AmosPro and the compiler from here (http://stos.atari.st/theme_2_1.html).

It contains KickRom 1.3 and 3.0 :)  So...

Now Im gonna try to see if I can get E-UAE Running...

HELP !!!!   All is downloaded... As I started
the Apple Icon Thingy called E-UAE it wanted
to load a ROM file... Thats ok... It open the
fileselector and there where the following files...

Kick130.rom
Kick300.rom

But they where grey and I couldnt select anyone of
them :S ...

Whats wrong .... *Crryyyyy*

Thats dumb *GRINS*  The UEA thingy was already on
the Amiga disc... And I got AMOS running ....

JJJJJJJuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.......

But somethings wrong with the pic :S

But now Im gonna fix that to... !!

The screen is very unclear and full of stripes :S

The screen emulation must have been set to scanline.  If you switch it to scan-double that should fix it.
