Title: restoring Amiga cases
Post by: hamtronix on October 06, 2006, 01:06:18 PM
Any chemists out there know if there is a catalytic agent that could be used to restore the yellowed Amiga cases to their original white?

Something beyond painting of course, something that removes the yellow to show the beauty below.

Maybe an electric toothbrush and some crest?

Now for something completely different:

Trying to get that swimsuit off with an electric toothbrush and some Crest will not work. That's all I know  :-P

It has been said that using some Bleach in water and let it soak for a fue days will remove the yellow. I have tried using a very fine grit sandpapper to remove the yellow and that works but its tough to get into the Amiga logo and the lines.
