Untested.
Zip discs are mostly unused, bought from Staples a long time ago for way too much money. A couple might have data files on them that would be compatible with the Powerflyer (internal A1200 SCSI adaptor that connected to IDE connector, wtf!) Zip drivers. Some are multicoloured. Price is free, but I'd appreciate any taker at least giving a cursory attempt at getting the data from some of the discs, but the Powerflyer Zip format was rather custom sadly.
Zip drive is a SCSI blue Zip100 drive. Comes with 25:25 SCSI cable. I know I have the power adapter somewhere, but have to hunt it down.
Also SCSI CD-ROM drive in (power supply broken) external 5.25" SCSI casing. 25:50 SCSI cable. I think this was a Squirrel casing.
Postage extra, of course, but with a Peterborough Big Bash I'm hoping there's people in the area :)
Edit: I also have a friend offering pretty much the same also in Cambridge, so make that two SCSI Zip Drives + various cables and a total of 16 Zip Discs.

Hi,
If you don't have any takers in the UK, I'd be happy to take the disks only off your hands, depending on the postage costs. I have a couple of working Zip drives and would certainly give the data recovery a go.
What was different about the Zip format? Did the creators of the hardware use something other than FFS?

'Lo Hattig,
I have a Zip on a PowerFlyer which I use to backup my LightWave anims. Send as many as you like and I'll take a look at them for you. PayPal OK for postage?
Let me know,
