Hi guys...
How is UAE integration coming along?
Keep up the good work.

The bounty is being redefined to better declare what needs to be done and how it should function.
You can check out the discussion here (http://aros-exec.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=1673&forum=8&post_id=13607#forumpost13607) at AROS-EXEC and here (http://www.thenostromo.com/archives/teamaros/2006-09/) on the Team AROS mailing list.

Nice, thanks for the link. Looking forward for the day I can run Hippoplayer in AROS 8-)

I wonder if someone knows a 680x0 emulator that isn't under the GPL license.
LGPL and BSD may be interesting.
I ask this because AROS-PPC has evolved quite a lot last months and is quite stable and thanks to the work of Markus Weiss it's building automatically from time to time (something in the TO DO list is to make the AROS build system cross-compile AROS for various platforms).
One of the possibilities for big endian AROS versions would be 680x0 emulation. Do you know any BSD or LGPL 680x0 emulator?

Try looking at FAME/C (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=40931). It has recently been used to replace the original 68k emulation in UAE for the GP2x giving it a pretty decent speed boost and seems to have good compatibility.
It is, however, probably 68000 only (no 020 or later instructions, no FPU). Also the license is unclear from the source code, however the current maintainer Chui is a decent guy and active developer who might be willing to re-license.
He's active on the GP2x boards, so I'll drop him a PM.

Feel free to continue donating to the UAE bounty fund, btw. :P

@dammy
I'm more interested in 680x0 integrated emulation.
BTW, UAE is GPL, wouldn't that cause problems for your UAE integrated emu? it should be distributed as a 3rd party app, wouldn't it?
-
Nope, it will go with all the other GPL/LGPL apps/libs, in contrib section.
