				What the stat's mean.

They are a  ranking.  A ranking of 1 would mean you are the most
popular site on the internet,  a rank of 2, the 2nd most popular.
 etc.

Obviously a lower number is better.  Unless you are a loner I guess.

Anyway, judge the veracity of the numbers for yourself, I think they are interesting, and somewhat capable of judging relative interest, but its not scientific by any means.

The numbers how a site faired compared to other sites on the internet for this week, and compared to traffic for the past 3 months.

As amiga sites are skyrocketing in their Alexa stats (possibly due to higher representation recently in the Alexa system), I find the stats most interesting relative to each other, not relative to the general internet.

Anyway, you will find recent rankings higher than 3 month averages.

 By this week:

 1. AMIGA.ORG      RANK: 32,616
 2. ANN.LU     RANK: 69,455
 3. AMIGA.COM     RANK: 86,303
 4. AMIGAWORLD.NET RANK: 132,960

 By a 3 month average:

 1. AMIGA.ORG      RANK: 125,159
 2. AMIGA.COM      RANK: 184,183
 3. AMIGAWORLD.NET RANK: 260,146
 4. ANN.LU         RANK: 412,991

I continue to monitor other sites, will report on them if they make any interesting moves.

Is that, the average week for 3 months or the average 3 month period for another period?

				@MarkTime

Where is it you found these stats? Does the site explain their ranking?

 Just interested.

				I found them at alexa.com

It does explain how they are arrived, and of course...it is clear it is not scientific, but I will also say this....it is also one of the only sources for stats of this kind.

to the other poster...it is the last 3 months...just like, the stats for 1 week, was the stats for the last 7 days.....the 3 month stats, are the same stats, but this time the time period is 90 days...the last 90 days, approximately..I'm sure alexa.com explains it better..
