Hi folks,
have you any experiences (good or no so good) of using AF for hardware repairs?
I'm interested in things like :-
1. costs, including shipping charges (OK I know its kind of dependant on the repair say something like replacing a Lisa or Alice Chip).
2. turnaround times.
3. do they do a good job?
I'm based in the UK so any other reliable? repairers in Europe
ta, Ian

Thanks, for all the feedback, including the link to the related thread. It looks like I will be checking out my stash of Euro's and getting my Dutch contact (where my MB is currently!) to ship to AF.
Ian.

You can send them your hardware and get a free quote. (Well, for shipping cost I guess). Beware that returns are around 30 Euros or more for a motherboard.
From my small experience couple of years ago the service is excellent but very expensive (you do get a free quote, so it's up to you to accept the price for the repair in question).
