Title: melted A1000 keyboard

I've had success repairing worn out / damaged traces with 'Leitsilber' - must be done very thoroughly but one repair from >3 years is still working (used every day).

A sharp knife along the seam where the top and bottom halves of the keyboard casing may be enough to cut away the melted plastic, thus allowing the casing to open.

Oops, sorry - I was talking about the A500 keyboard (link 2)... But moto's right about the knife. ;-)

I see, ok thanks, but kbd is totaly broken.. Because I tried using graphite spray and that ruined the connector totally..
