Title: Delfina Flipper "surround sound" problem
Post by: HardStep on September 09, 2006, 02:56:23 PM
Hi,
i have a problem with Delfina Flipper soundboard. There is a lot of noise and static in the background when playing back through Delfina. The board is connected to A1200 clockport, and there is no RF shield on the mobo anymore. might this be the cause? Everything else works fine, got even DSP working to  decode mp3-s.
Thanks.

Can't help with this one as I don't have that card :-(
Anyone else know about it ?
My clockport didn't exist until I soldered the pins to it, and  it still didn't work then :-(

Hi,

my board doesn't have that problem, however it's connected to the A1200 via my XSurf's clock port.. maybe it's a faulty A1200 clock port.. dunno :S

i had that problem before but as i can remember it was a power issue with the incorrect grounding or something and then after that it was underpower.. A long time ago anyways.. The delfina requires some power and if combined with a power hungry acc board use a AT\ATX psu for you miggy as you will not have enugh with your old brick..

Hi,
be sure to "cut" Microphone In, Line In and maybe also CDROM In, which are like antenna and bring you all the "noise" surrounding the wires...
